Davis Mountain Preserve

The Nature Conservancy opens the preserve about once a month for hikings & horseback riding (must provide your own horse) four-wheel-drive tours. For more information about our walks there, please contact me (Willard Raiffeisen 432-218-6077 or wraiff@hotmail.com).

The next open weekend will be August 15 - 17.

Primitive camping is available with restrooms & kitchen facilities available at the nearby Visitors' Center on site. I will be staying at the Ft Davis Motor Inn in Ft Davis (30 mi from the Preserve).
